Tyler is the Founder & Creative Director of Rebel Roots Theatre Company. A working-class lad from Pudsey, Tyler created the company with the ambition of amplifying working-class voices, and creating work for fellow graduates, as well as unrepresented talent. With experience on TV & Stage, working with Emmy Award winners, Tyler aims to use his experience to create a new, bold and unique voice in the Northern Arts.

Born and bred in the Lake District, Phoenix has a passion for telling authentic stories about real people. Phoenix champions artists in the North and aims to build a supportive and empowering community - providing more opportunities for working-class creatives and young performers to find creative fulfilment.​​​

Danté Thomas is a working-class actor based in Leeds. Despite being born in East London, he saw the creative potential of the north and decided to take action as the Artistic Researcher of Rebel Roots Theatre Company. Danté's vision is to see how art reaches and connects to the collective human experience.

Born and raised in Scotland, Leannah made the decision to plant her roots here in Leeds. Since then, she has found herself performing on-stage and screen, as well as having plenty of experience behind the scenes designing. Leannah has a passion for creativity and enjoys experimenting to bring new ideas to life.
