Family First
The Merrow family has owned and operated 'Balor Bar' for generations. Known for its warm atmosphere, hearty laughter, and the best stout in the county, the pub is more than a business - it's a cherished family tradition.
At the helm of Balor Bar are Malachy and Lizzie Merrow, a spirited couple whose love for their pub is only rivalled by their love for their three children: Conor, Keira and Maeve.
The pair have always envisioned passing the bar down to their kids, keeping their legacy alive. However, not everyone is on board.
Through lively scene filled with song, dance and stories of old, 'Family First' explores themes of family, tradition and self-discovery.

Tonight's Our Night
Join the Rebel Roots Youth Academy for our debut show, 'Tonight's Our Night'.
In the midst of a late night party, we join a group of young people as they explore what it means to find their own identity and take their life into their own hands.
Through physical theatre, heartfelt monologues and rave hits, we see what it means to be a young person contemplating their future in the 21st Century.

Lost Identity
Lost Identity is a Rebel Roots Youth Academy production that follows Michael, a young man wrestling with the weight of his own mind. Isolated and overwhelmed, he’s forced to confront the grief he’s spent years trying to bury.
As memories blur and inner voices grow louder, Michael finds himself battling not only sorrow, but shame, self-doubt and the painful possibility that he may have played a part in the loss he’s grieving. Guided — and sometimes challenged — by the therapist trying to break through to him, Michael is pushed to the edge of what he believes about himself.
In the end, he’s left with a choice that could redefine everything he knows about his past… and everything he hopes for in his future.
How far would you go to face the truth you’ve been running from?
